In addition to providing financial support to individual children, Majblommans Riksförbund also conducts fundraising, advocacy work, and research. The organization consists of 500 local associations across Sweden.

Majblommans Riksförbund is now looking for a Social Analyst for a key role aimed at strengthening the organization's analytical and strategic capacity. This role is central for Majblomman to develop its operations in new ways while being a clear and knowledgeable voice in the public debate about child poverty in Sweden.

About the role
As a Social Analyst, you will work with analysis, environmental monitoring, and strategic development to strengthen Majblomman’s long-term impact. The role is new and will be shaped in close dialogue with the Secretary General and the organization's management. You will be responsible for identifying social trends, political events, and structural changes affecting children in economic vulnerability. Through qualified research, analysis, and processing of complex information, you will produce materials used in everything from strategic decisions and action plans for developing operations to communication and advocacy work. The work is project-based, you own the analysis and strategic work, and collaborate closely with colleagues in the organization before the project is handed over internally for implementation. You will also have contact with external actors such as authorities, politicians, and other organizations. The role reports directly to the Secretary General. You will be based in the office in central Gothenburg.

Your experience
We are looking for someone with experience in qualified analysis, research, or strategic work, preferably within social issues, politics, civil society, government, or a similar context. You have a relevant academic background, such as in political science or social science. You are accustomed to collecting, reviewing, and analyzing information from various sources and translating analysis into clear conclusions, recommendations, and strategic materials. Experience working with analysis in a communicative or opinion-forming context is an advantage.
